Biopsy

Subject: biopsy
Today was the day…I went in to Harris Methodist Hospital at 5:30am to sign in. Then I was called back to my room about an hour later, where I changed into my stylish hospital gown. After some preliminary stuff (poking me twice to get an IV in, taking my pulse and blood pressure innumerable times, etc.), I finally went in to the radiology department to wait around for another hour or so. At right around 8:00, I went in to have a cat scan done, and also to get a sedative. I had a different doctor this time and he gave me anesthetic for my skin as well as for my lung. The sedative and the internal anesthetic made a world of difference between this biopsy and the first one. Whereas the first biopsy hurt me to do, I felt literally nothing when he did this one. And he was able to take somewhere between 8 and 10 samples, so the results should show something this time. Anyway, I was able to leave the hospital by noon and have been relaxing for the rest of the day.
I should find out something by Friday, so for those of you who have been praying for me, thank you so much, and I seek your continued prayers for the next couple of days.
