I am studying Joshua. I am teaching through Joshua at church as opportunities arise. I plan to use this blog as a combination between study notes, prayer journal, and whatever else happens to come across my mind.

Why 6three3?
I had intended to start up a local Bible Study group with this name. I don’t know if that is going to happen, or if I am simply going to move forward with the blog thing instead. I know that I want to minister in whatever way or ways God has prepared for me.

I didn’t answer the question.

I chose the title 6three3 because I really feel like Matthew 6:33 and Psalm 63:3 both are verses that speak to me at this point in my life.

Matthew 6:33 begins, Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Too often we see the first part and gloss over the second part. I know I do. It’s fun to seek the blessings of the kingdom, but how fun is it to seek the restrictions placed on us by righteousness.

But the blessings of obedience are so sweet!

Psalm 63:3 says, Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, so my lips shall praise You. I believe that to be the heart of every believer’s communion with God. I want more of that in my own life.

And so the journey begins…
